How We Can Help

Based on our experience assisting some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, we recognise that social circumstances such as loss of income, work or housing can contribute to mental health concerns. Homelessness is both a cause and an effect of poor mental health. For example, the onset of mental illness can initiate or be part of a chain of circumstances that leads to homelessness.

We concentrate on ‘what happened’ to a person rather than ‘what’s wrong’ with them. Building trusting and secure connections with the members we deal with is central to our mission at Succour Haven CIC. Our services are geared at assisting people suffering from trauma or adversity, resulting in poor mental health.

We build trusted and secure connections with our clients and work collaboratively with partner agencies to get a comprehensive knowledge of our client’s individual situations and how to alleviate the problems they are facing with the correct form of support from partner agencies.
